My name is Anna and I’m a content creator from San Francisco. A little bit about me – I’m a Stanford Computer Science grad passionate about virtual reality. I’m writing my master’s thesis through the Virtual Human Interaction Lab (VHIL) on campus, a lab who’s focus is to understand the dynamics and implications of interactions among people in immersive virtual reality simulations. I am also taking media production classes in Immersive Storytelling and doing a lot of experimentation with 360 content creation. I was involved as a course developer with Udacity, helping develop the Immersive Media section of the VR Nanodegree.
Meet Amelio! He is my fluffy travel companion this summer. He has his own instagram account – follow him @ftwr.world
This past summer I started an immersive travel blog. The idea was to travel around with a 360 camera, get creative, and release episodic content. One of the major goals of this blog is to get people exposed and excited about virtual reality. After traveling around the globe solo, driving across the US with by best friends, living in the back of an airstream for three weeks and going to Burning Man, I’m finally back in San Francisco were I am continuing my exploration of immersive storytelling.
